Moose Jaw Police responded to 40 calls for service.

8:50 am – 900 block Warner St – Dispute – A complainant called in regards to a family member acting erratically. The subject was contacted by police and denied such behaviour.

8:57 am – 700 block Athabasca St E – Suspicious Occurrence – A caller complained about someone trying to break into their residence. No evidence of a break in was found on police arrival. The screen door was banging on the door frame and making noise.

10:46 am – 0 block Flax Rd – Vehicle Collision - Three vehicles were involved in a collision. One vehicle slid in to two parked cars. One vehicle was towed and there was approximately $30 000 of damage.

1:01 pm – 1000 block Lillooet St W – Threats – There were reports of threats and aggressive behaviour which are still under investigation.

3:43 pm – 1200 block 9th Av NE – Suspicious Person – A complainant called in regards to two people that showed up at their residence to scream at them. The incident was reported for informational purposes and no charges were laid at this time.

3:48 pm – 1100 block Chestnut Av – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle has been parked in the same spot for multiple consecutive days. The tires were marked and the registered owner of the vehicle was notified to move their vehicle.

4:11 pm – 0 block Home St E – Parking Bylaw – A trailer was blocking the complainant’s driveway. The registered owner was contacted by police and moved their vehicle.

4:39 pm – 9th Av NE at Athabasca St E – Erratic Driving – A complainant said that they observed a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road multiple times. The registered owner of the vehicle was contacted and said that their heater broke and they were trying to fix it while driving. The subject was warned for erratic driving.

8:00 pm – 800 block Athabasca St E – Breach Undertaking – Charges are pending after a subject entered a business while on court ordered conditions to refrain from doing so.

8:20 pm – 0 block Manitoba St E – Intoxicated Person – The subject was located, transported to police cells and held until sober.

12:14 am – 0 block Manitoba St W – Fire Call – Police assisted the fire department with a structure fire at a local business.  It was not suspicious in nature.

1:30 am – 800 block Main St N – Unwanted Guest – A complaint of an unwanted guest in the building resulted in the subject being arrested for public intoxication.  The subject is also being charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a prohibited weapon, and breaching a weapons prohibition.  The individual was held in cells until sober and is to be released with conditions for a later court date.

2:18 am – 400 block Ominica St W – Noise Complaint – The resident was warned under the noise bylaw and turned down the music.

Police responded to six 911 calls.
Police assisted other agencies in five cases.
