Moose Jaw Police responded to 34 calls for service.

7:24 am – 900 block Athabasca St W – Disturbance – This was a simple misunderstanding, and the situation was mediated.

11:50 am – 1100 block Main St N – Found property – Items were seized and exhibited at the police station.

12:01 pm – 500 block Thatcher Dr E – Theft of Auto – A vehicle was parked. The owner had dropped their keys and a suspect found them and stole the vehicle, which was later recovered in Moose Jaw with no damage. The incident is still under investigation.

2:05 pm – 200 block Manitoba St W – Dangerous Driving – The owner was located and spoken to, and they were warned regarding their driving actions.

3:41 pm – 700 block Main St N – Theft of Auto – A vehicle was left running with the door unlocked outside of a business and unattended. A suspect stole the vehicle and fled from police. The vehicle was located later in the evening and the suspect was arrested. They will be held in custody and brought to court on Wednesday.

3:55 pm – 1000 block 8th Av NW – Dispute – The situation was mediated for the day.

6:20 pm – 300 block Main St N – Theft Under – A vehicle was parked outside a business when a suspect stole the licence plate off of it. The investigation is still ongoing.

7:03 pm – 0 block Thatcher Dr E – Hit and Run – A suspect vehicle struck a parked vehicle and fled the scene. Approximately $1000 of damage was done, and the incident is still being investigated.

7:12 pm – 600 block 6th Av NE – Disturbance – An intoxicated subject was trying to get into a building. The subject was found to be staying there for the holidays and was escorted to their room safely.

9:30 pm – 1300 block Gordon Rd – Dispute – Subjects were spoken to and were separated for the night. The situation was mediated.

9:40 pm – 600 block Fairford St E – Dispute - Subjects were spoken to and options were given. The situation was mediated and the subjects were separated for the night.

9:42 pm – 1200 block Wolfe Av – Theft of Auto – A vehicle was left outside of a home and left running with the doors unlocked. Suspects stole the vehicle and fled the area; the incident is currently still under investigation.

9:53 pm – 1200 block 1st Av NW – Wellbeing Check – The subject was located and found to be in good health.

10:04 pm – 300 block North Service Rd – Assault – A witness saw the suspect beating up another person. When confronted they fled the scene. The victim was located and found to have minor injuries. The incident is still under investigation.

11:49 pm – 500 block Home St W – Disturbance – Subjects had a little too much to drink and got out of hand. Everyone was spoken to and the situation was mediated. The subjects were separated for the evening.
