Moose Jaw Police responded to 44 calls for service. 

11:57 am – 600 block Main St S – Theft – A complainant’s prescription pills were taken from their home. Police are still investigating.

12:48 pm – 1300 block Main St N – Suspicious Occurrence – A complainant reported seeing two children alone in a vehicle. Their parent was warned by police.

1:04 pm – Maplewood Cr at West Park Dr – Parking Bylaw – A complainant called in regards to an unattached trailer that has been parked in the same spot for months. The registered owner was asked to move the trailer.

1:23 pm – 0 block Fairford St W – Warrant Executed – A subject was brought into custody on two warrants and was later released on conditions.

1:26 pm – 600 block Stadacona St E – Theft – Various items were stolen from an establishment. Video footage was obtained and is still under investigation.

1:52 pm – Thatcher Dr W at Simcoe St – Dispute – A subject jumped out of a moving vehicle and ran away. The subject was later found and taken home.

3:52 pm – 200 block Stadacona St W – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle has been parked in same spot for three weeks. The registered owner was asked to move the vehicle.

4:07 pm – 0 block Highland Rd – Suspicious Vehicle – A complainant reported seeing two adults parked in a private parking lot on numerous occasions. The complainant wants the subjects spoken to. Police are still investigating to speak with the registered owner.

4:22 pm – 1300 block Coteau St E – Suspicious Vehicle – A complainant reported seeing youths parked in front of their residence. The complainant felt that they were up to no good. The subjects were spoken to and were found to be doing nothing wrong.

4:43 pm – 0 block Manitoba St E – Hit and Run – The side of a complainant’s vehicle was scratched while they were inside an establishment. A worker witnessed the incident. Police are still investigating to follow up with the suspect vehicle.

5:20 pm – 4th Av SW at Home St W – Assist – Police were asked to assist in escorting two trucks out of the city after they got lost in detours.

6:26 pm – 1st Av NE at Manitoba St E – Threats – A subject threatened a complainant with bodily harm. A statement was taken and police are still investigating.

7:13 pm – 0 block Caribou St W – Shoplifting – A subject stole an item from an establishment. Police are still investigating to view the video.

9:23 pm - 900 block Main St N – Warrant Executed – A subject was brought into custody and was released on conditions with a later court date.

12:05 am - 1200 block 1st Av NW – Warrant Executed – A subject was brought into custody and is being held in remand until they can attend court in Regina.

1:08 am – 0 block Fairford St W – Disturbance – Two intoxicated adults were brought to the police station by a taxi driver as they were unable to convey where they needed to be dropped off. The subjects were eventually able to remember where they were staying for the night.

Police charged three with failing to appear in court.
Police responded to three 911 calls.
Police assisted other agencies in six cases.
Police executed three warrants.
Police responded to one alarm call.
