Moose Jaw Police responded to 56 calls for service.

7:38 am – 700 Block Fairford St W – Threats – A person at a building was threatening another person, wanting to get paid. Police attended and spoke with the parties. There was a misunderstanding the day prior, and there is a repayment agreement in place.

8:17 am – 1200 Block Main St N – Theft – A person took a vacuum from a business. The person was charged for theft.

8:48 am – 800 Block Hochelaga St E – Theft of Auto – A vehicle was taken sometime overnight with a full tank of gas, last seen at approximately 10 pm. It is unknown if the keys were left in the vehicle, and there are no suspects or witnesses.

8:49 am – 1700 Block Main St N – Traffic Bylaw – There was a semi parked on a service road with an unsecured load. Police spoke with the registered owner of the unit, who stated they were aware and will have the load secured prior to moving.

9:36 am – 600 Block 5th Av NW – Harassing Calls – A person was continually calling and asking the same questions. The complainant would like the person calling told to cease contact. Police spoke with the caller and advised them as such.

10:06 am – 300 Block Diefenbaker Dr – Hit & Run – This occurred sometime yesterday, with damage to the driver’s side bumper of a vehicle. There was approximately $2000 of damage, no video, no suspects, and no witnesses.

10:07 am – 1100 Algoma Ave – Threats – A person was leaving threatening notes on a complainant’s car and via social media. The complainant wanted it reported for informational purposes.

10:24 am – 0 Block Caribou St E – Mischief – The window on a vehicle was smashed out sometime overnight. Police attended and found it to be caused by mechanical damage. There was approximately $800 of damage.

11:05 am – 1st Av NW at Athabasca St W – Traffic Bylaw – A semi was driving on the road with two blown tires. Police attended and issued tickets for operating a vehicle on an undesignated route.

12:44 pm – 300 Block Oxford St W – Dangerous Driving – A driver was slamming on their brakes and then squealing their tires while driving away, while also yelling profanities. The complainant obtained the vehicle information and wished for the driver to be warned. Police warned the driver.

12:46 pm – 1000 Block Manitoba St E – Theft Under – The hub caps were taken off a vehicle, and the vehicle was also scratched. There was an approximate value of $110, with no witnesses or suspects.

2:55 pm – 400 Block 9th Av SW – Found Drugs Turned In – Drugs were found in the area and were turned in to the police station for destruction.

3:06 pm – 1000 Block Stadacona St W – Harassing Calls – A person was contacting a complainant, and the individual would like it stopped. Police contacted the caller and told them to cease contact.

3:33 pm – 100 Block 1st Av NE – Dispute; Complainant Versus Staff – Police attended and spoke with the complainant to move along as per the staff request. The complainant left without issue.

4:04 pm – 1300 Block Algoma Ave – Theft Under – A locked vehicle was entered sometime overnight. Various items were taken, with no damage to the vehicle.

4:20 pm – 600 Block Aldersgate St – Break & Enter – A complainant’s ex broke into a residence, but after inspection, the complainant doesn’t believe anything was taken. The complainant wanted their ex spoken to and not charged.

4:33 pm – 600 Block Athabasca St W – Harassing Calls – A complainant was being harassed and wanted to speak with police about their options. Police spoke with the complainant and made a report for informational purposes.

6:01 pm – 1100 Block Bogue Ave – Theft Under – A vehicle was broken into and a phone was stolen. Police are investigating to speak with the person who obtained the phone.

6:26 pm – 1000 Block Athabasca St E – Trespass – There was a person on a bike who appeared to be intoxicated, and who went through the complainant’s yard. The police attended but did not find anyone to match the complainant’s description.

6:42 pm – Main St S at Home St W – Intoxicated Person – A person was walking on the road not wearing too many articles of clothing. Police attended and escorted person to cells to hold until sober.

12:22 am – 500 Block Hochelaga St E – Assist EMS – A complainant stated that a person was having a stroke. EMS and Police attended and took the subject to the hospital due to some muscle issues.

2:38 am – 600 Block Aldersgate – Unwanted Guest – A person showed up at a residence and was not wanted. Police attended and arrested the guest on outstanding warrants.

3:44 am – 1300 King Cres – Theft Under – Four persons were seen after rummaging through a car. Police attended but could not locate the persons.

Police responded to five 911 calls.

Police responded to three noise bylaws.
Police responded to one false alarm.
Police assisted six other agencies.
