Moose Jaw Police responded to 31 calls for service.
 

8:01 am – 900 Block Bradley St – Police assisted the fire department at a call which, through further investigation, was determined to be not a structure fire, but issues with a stove.

11:09 am – 1000 Block Rorison Ave – Attempted Fraud – A subject received a call from an unknown person saying they were with STARS Ambulance and were calling to advise the subject that they had just won a Ford Explorer. The subject was advised that this was a scam.

11:34 am – 1200 Block Vaughan St – Well-Being Check – A subject was found to be in fine health with family members, and the complainant was advised of police findings.

2:17 pm – 1200 Block 9th Ave NE – There was a report of a possible assault, and it is still under investigation.

2:23 pm – 1st Ave SE at Coteau St E – Multi-Vehicle Collision – Two vehicle motor vehicle collision with two minor injuries. The damage is estimated at $5,500. One vehicle was towed and one driver was charged with proceeding from a stop sign before safe.

4:20 pm – 700 Block Grandview St W – Well-Being Check – Subjects were located in fine health with a family member, and the complainant was advised of police findings.

5:37 pm – 1000 Block Stadacona St W – Multi-Vehicle Collision – A vehicle was hit while parked just off the back alley. Police contacted the other driver and assisted with name exchange; the damage is estimated at $2,000.

5:41 pm – 700 Block Fairford St E – Dispute – Police mediated a dispute between two subjects.

6:37 pm – 1000 Block Clifton Ave – Abandoned Vehicle – A vehicle was towed.

7:31 pm – 1000 Block Athabasca St W – Well-Being Check – Police were asked to check on the well-being of a friend. The subject was located in fine health with family and friends, and the complainant was advised of the findings.

9:33 pm – 1300 Block Athabasca St W – Dispute – A complainant was seeking options regarding a dispute. Options were given and the incident was documented.

10:03 pm – 1300 Block 12th Ave SW – Assist Other Government Agency – Police stood by and kept the peace while a bon fire was extinguished

1:04 am – 1000 Block 1st Ave NE – Well-Being Check – Police were asked to check on the well-being of a subject. The subject was located with a family member and already seeking medical assistance, and the complainant was advised.

3:13 am – 4th Ave SW at Coteau St W – A vehicle failed to stop for police and the driver is to be charged.

Police responded to three 911 calls.
Police executed two warrants.
Police responded to two alarm calls.
