Moose Jaw Police responded to 37 calls for service. 

7:38 am – 900 Block Montgomery St – Recovered Stolen Property – Two stolen cell phones were turned in to police. Police are still investigating.

9:50 am – 1100 Block 4th Ave NE – Mischief – There was mischief to a window with the damage estimated at $300. Police are still investigating.

11:10 am – 1100 Block 3rd Ave NE –Theft of Auto – Sometime overnight a purple Dodge Neon was stolen bearing the Saskatchewan plate 011JRW. The vehicle was added to CPIC as a stolen auto.

11:14 am – During a routine traffic patrol a vehicle was stopped and the driver was found to be suspended and impoundable. The vehicle was seized for 30 days and the driver was charged for driving while suspended.

12:10 pm – 100 Block Saskatchewan St E – Mischief – There was a report of damage to a bus shelter, with damage to one pane of glass and damage estimated at $500.

12:58 pm – 200 Block Athabasca St W – Mischief – A subject broke a tail light on a vehicle. The subject was located and referred to mediation.

1:41 pm – 500 Block Hochelaga St E – Mischief – Sometime today someone smashed the rear window on a vehicle, with the damage estimated at $500. Police continue to investigate.

2:16 pm – 1200 Block Wolfe Ave – Mischief – Sometime since Friday night a kitchen window was damaged, with the damage estimated at $300. Police continue to investigate.

2:58 pm – 500 Block Hochelaga St E – Mischief – Sometime today the back window of a truck was damaged, with the damage estimated at $600. Police continue to investigate with possible suspects.

3:04 pm – 800 Block Manitoba St E – A vehicle failed to stop for police and the driver is to be charged.

3:08 pm - 300 Block Duffield St – Dispute – There was a dispute between two subjects. Police spoke to both parties involved. The complainant was provided options, and the other party was warned for their actions.

3:38 pm – 800 Block 4th Ave NE – Mischief – There was damage to the rear driver side window, with damage estimated at $300. Police continue to investigate.

3:47 pm – 1000 Block Redland Ave – An unlocked vehicle was entered and rummaged through, with nothing taken. Property belonging to someone else was found, and police returned the property to the owner.

4:43 pm – 700 Block Hochelaga St E – Mischief – There was damage to a rear driver’s side window, with the damage estimated at $300. Police continue to investigate.

5:03 pm – 800 Block Athabasca St E – There was a report of barking dogs in a back yard, and the dog owner was warned.

6:07 pm – 1100 Block 1st Ave NW – There was a report of a male with a knife. The male was charged with possessing a weapon dangerous to the public, unlawfully being in a dwelling, resisting arrest x 2, and breaching court orders x 2. The male is in police custody and will be attending court in the morning.

7:06 pm – 1000 Block 1st Ave NW – Police responded to an open line 911 call where nothing was said. Once on scene an altercation was located in a back yard. One male was arrested for breaking and entering and theft, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon x 2, assault, and uttering threats x 2. The male was arrested and is in police custody. He will be appearing in court in the morning.

9:25 pm – 300 Block Lillooet St W – Dispute – An individual was provided options regarding an ongoing dispute.

10:27 pm – 300 Block River Park Dr – Party – Police were called to a report of a huge gathering in the park, with possible underage drinking. The subjects dispersed upon police arrival, and one subject was taken home to their parents

11:30 pm – 300 Block Lillooet St W – Unwanted Contact – A subject was continuing unwanted contact with another person. Police spoke to the subject as per complainant’s wishes and warned the individual to stop all contact.

11:59 pm – 0 Block Main St N – Assist to Locate – Police received a request to assist in locating a youth who snuck out past curfew. The subject was located.

1:06 am – 500 Block Stadacona St W – Weapon Call – There was a report of 3 people walking down the street carrying clubs. The 3 subjects were located and charged with carry concealed weapons. all 3 subjects were taken home and released for a later court date.

Police responded to two 911 calls.
