Moose Jaw Police responded to 51 call for service.
 
 
10:52 am – 1300 Block Main St N – Theft – Video of two attempted thefts from business, occurred on two different days.  Still under investigation by police to retrieve video and identify suspect.
12:18 pm – 1600 Block Glendale St – Unwanted Guest – A subject was at a residence and refused to leave when asked to do so.  With police presence, the subject left when asked to do so.
1:10 pm – 0 Block High St W – Fraud – A fraudulent cheque was received from a customer.  Police continue to investigate.
1:10 pm – 0 Block Wood Lily Dr – Theft – A subject took a hat and left without paying for it.  Police are still investigating to review video to identify subject.
2:12 pm – 500 Block Thatcher Dr E – Shoplifting – A subject was detained by a Loss Prevention Officer for shoplifting.  The subject was released by Police on mediation as the individual had no previous criminal charges.
2:35 pm – 0 Block Manitoba St E – Found Bicycle – A bicycle was found behind a business.  Commissionaires are going to pick it up.
2:55 pm – 300 Block Coteau St W – Mischief – There was damage to a house caused by a child.  Parent wished for the child to be spoken to by Police.  The child was spoken to.
3:09 pm – 1400 Block Lakeview Rd – Driving while Prohibited – Information was received that a subject was driving without a licence.  Police continue to investigate.
3:40 pm – 1100 Block 1st Av NW – Harassing Communication – Unwanted communication was being received.  Police are investigating for possible charges.
4:05 pm – 700 Block Main St S – Harassing Communication – Subjects were communicating with each other when on Court ordered conditions not to have any communication.  Reported for informational purposes as the complainant was not willing to provide a statement for charges.
14:09 pm – 0 Block Wood Lily Dr – Harassing Communication – Unwanted messages were being received; the complainant was concerned for safety.  The subject responsible was warned as per complainant’s wishes.
4:53 pm – 1600 Block Marshall Cr – Bicycle Theft – Sometime in the day a bicycle was stolen from a residence and a different bicycle was left behind.  The stolen bicycle was described as a black Diadora bicycle with green lettering. The bicycle left behind is to be picked up by Commissionaires.
7:00 pm – 1200 Block Main St N – Theft – A subject attended a business at two different times and stole items.  Video footage was received by police, and the situation is still under investigation to identify subject.
7:02 pm – Crescent Park – Harassing Communication – A group participating in a workout class was being harassed by other park users.  The subjects responsible were spoken to by Police and asked to move along.  One subject was detained on outstanding warrants and held for court in the morning.
7:05 pm – 1000 Block 3rd Av NE – Hit & Run – A vehicle was sideswiped by another vehicle causing approximately $1000 in damage, and it left behind a blue and white paint transfer. 
7:31 pm – 9th Av NE at Athabasca St E – Impaired Driving – A plate number and vehicle description were obtained from a vehicle believed to be operated by an impaired driver.  The area of travel was checked by Police with negative results.  An RID letter is to be sent to the registered owner.
9:33 pm – 700 Block North Service Rd – Theft – Sometime in last week a vehicle was broken into and a tool box was stolen.
10:07 pm – 0 Block Oxford St W – Mischief – Occurred sometime between 9:00 am to 10:00 pm; small dent and paint chip above driver side head light.
10:28 pm – Smith Park – Threats – A subject threatened kids at the park after the child was involved in a consensual fight with other kids at the park.  The subject brandished a broom handle when confronting the kids.  The subject was located and was detained by Police.  The subject was charged with possessing a weapon dangerous to the public and resist arrest, and was released for Court at a later date.
10:47 pm – 1100 Block Athabasca St W – Dispute – There was a verbal disagreement over finances.  One party left the residence for the night.
11:36 pm – 1500 Block 4th Av NW – Suspicious Occurrence – A group of teenagers was seen running in the area when they saw the complainant in vehicle.  The area was checked and the teenagers were located and spoken to.  The teenagers were playing man tracker; nothing suspicious.
1:54 am – 200 Block Lillooet St W – MVA – A car versus a parked trailer.  The vehicle fled the area; however it was located a short distance away with no one around it.  The registered owner’s residence was attended with negative results.  The vehicle towed as it was not driveable.  Police are still investigating for charges by way of registered owner.
2:31 am – 4th Av NW at Laurier St - Fire Call – Vehicle fire.  Police continue to investigate.
 
Police responded to three 911 calls.
Police assisted three other agencies.
Police attended to one parking bylaw.
