Moose Jaw Police responded to 47 calls for service.
 
8:35 am – 1500 Block Grandview St– Barking Dog – Dog barking excessively.  Two residents in area own dogs, both warned of bylaw.
 
8:37 am – 500 Block Thatcher Dr E – Hit & Run – Occurred 2017 June 28 between 4:00-5:00 pm, approximately $5000 worth of damage to front bumper.
 
10:03 am – 400 Block 9th Av SW – Found Property – Black Samsung phone found and turned into Police.  Still under investigation to attempt to locate owner.
 
10:15 am – 200 Block Wood Lily Dr – Theft Over – Sometime overnight 2013 Sportsman Quad stolen. Quad added to CPIC (National Database) as stolen. Police continue to investigate.
 
10:40 am – 0 Block Buttercup Cr – Noise Bylaw – Workers have music blaring.  Workers spoken to and advised of bylaw.
 
10:48 am – 800 Block Oxford St W – Unwanted Guest – All parties involved spoken to.  Advice given.
 
10:54 am – 1100 Block 13th Av NW – Unwanted Guest – Subject no longer welcome at residence.  Subject transported to Social Services to receive assistance in getting alternate living arrangements.
 
11:41 am – 9th Av NW at Highway 1 – Towed Vehicle – Vehicle in median of highway with hood up, causing traffic jam.  Vehicle towed.
 
12:26 pm – 800 Block Willow Av – Break & Enter – Break in to residence interrupted by homeowner.  Subject responsible fled in vehicle.  Police unable to locate vehicle.  Subjects unable to make off with any property.  Police continue to investigate.
 
12:37 pm – 0 Block Lewry Cr – Theft Under – Property stolen from box of truck while parked in garage sometime overnight.  Police continue to investigate.
 
1:15 pm – 100 Block Manitoba St E – Intoxicated Person – Subject riding bike intoxicated, fell off and bumped head.  Subject checked over by EMS and cleared medically.  Subject detained in cells until sober and on outstanding warrants.  Released to attend Court at a later date.
 
1:16 pm – 1000 Block 7th Av NW – Assist to Locate – Subject last seen at 8:00 pm on June 28, 2017 wearing black sweat pants, a dark colored t-shirt and a hoody.  Several locations checked by family and Police with negative results.  Police continue to search for subject.
 
1:35 pm – 0 Block Chester Rd – Erratic Driving – Plate numbers and vehicle descriptions obtained for vehicles observed to be racing.  Still under investigation to speak with registered owners and/or drivers.
 
1:49 pm – 800 Block Lillooet St W – MVA – Two vehicle collision resulting in approximately $10,000 worth of damage, one vehicle towed, no injuries.  One charge for proceeding before safe to do so.
 
2:20 pm – 1200 Block 11th Av SW – Bike Theft – Bike stolen for lobby area of apartment complex.  Bike located in dumpster by Police.
 
3:37 pm – 200 Block Lillooet St E – Mischief – Group of kids being nuisance in area, banging on windows.  Kids located and spoken to, no damage noted.
 
3:46 pm – 1200 Block 4th Av NW – Hit & Run – Occurred a month ago while vehicle parked on street overnight.  Still under investigation to speak with complainant.
 
4:15 pm – 1000 Block Normandy Dr – Theft Under – Rivalry between two roofing businesses with one stealing signs from front lawns that belong to other company.  Video obtained of company truck and occupant committing offence.  Police continue to investigate.  Sign recovered to be returned to rightful owner.
 
4:31 pm – 100 Block Fairford St W – Dispute – Dispute between two parties.  Mediated by Police.
 
5:34 pm – 0 Block Fairford St W – Found Property – Signed cheque located in parking lot, turned into Police.  Still under investigation to return to owner.
 
5:36 pm – 9th Av SW at Grandview St W – MVA – Two vehicle collision resulting in approximately $1000 worth of damage, one tow, no injuries.  One charge for proceeding before safe after yielding right of way.
 
5:51 pm – 100 Block High St W – Mental Health Act – Subject transported via EMS to hospital.
 
6:09 pm – 1200 Block 9th Av NW – Dispute – Child being disciplined by father, complainant didn’t believe father being fair to child.  Father advised to keep private matters private.
 
10:30 pm – 0 Block Bluebell Cr – Assist to Locate – Youth left residence at 7:30 am and has failed to return home.  Last seen wearing leggings and a black hoody.  Youth believed to be in Regina.  Youth spoken to by phone and confirmed location.  Regina Mobile Crisis attended and picked up youth, turning over to Social Services to return home.
 
10:31 pm – 1300 Block 13th Av SW – Assist to Locate – Youth failed to return home for house curfew, last seen at 1920 hours wearing black hoody and dark skinny jeans.  Youth spoken to via phone and verified safe however would not disclose location.  Youth added to CPIC (national database) as missing.  Police to follow up.
 
10:45 pm – 1000 Block Normandy Dr – Mischief – Object thrown at residence from occupants in vehicle as drove by.  Vehicle description obtained.  No damage noted to residence. Police continue to investigate.
