Moose Jaw Police responded to 41 calls for service.

7:44 am – Dispute – Parties were reported to be having an argument. The situation was calm upon police arrival.

7:51 am – Suspicious Occurrence – A complainant was receiving disturbing text messages. Advice was given.

8:22 am – Theft – A complainant had their residence broken into and is now seeing his belongings sold online. The matter is under investigation for charges.

8:48 am – Found Bicycle – A blue mountain bike was turned in.

9:54 am – Theft – A DVD player was stolen. This was reported for information purposes.

10:08 am – Suspicious Person – A complainant advised that an individual was not welcome in their establishment. The individual was located and warned not to go back there.

10:39 am – Theft Under – A complainant witnessed a male stealing property from a victim’s home. He was charged with theft under $5000.

11:09 am – Theft Under – A complainant’s licence plate was stolen off of a vehicle sometime overnight.

3:06 pm – Erratic Driving – A vehicle was driving through a school zone and did not stop for safety patrols. The registered owner was warned.

3:23 pm – Dispute – A marital dispute took place over property. The situation was mediated and the property was returned.

5:22 pm – Break and Enter – A complainant reporting a break and enter at another residence. Broken glass was found upon arrival. The homeowner was arrested on outstanding warrants.

6:02 pm – Parking – An unattached trailer was left parked on the street. The tires were marked.

7:30 pm – Wildlife Act – A complainant hit a deer within city limits. Damages to the vehicle totalled $3000. The area was searched and the deer was not located.

7:45 pm – Theft Under – A complainant’s groceries were stolen off an apartment door handle. The matter is still under investigation.

11:54 pm – Suspicious Occurrence – A complainant called to request police attend to an address where his son was located. The individual expressed that he did not require police assistance.

11:58 pm – Suspicious Occurrence – There was a report of one male chasing another down the street. Police located the males and one individual was arrested for public intoxication.

Police responded to one alarm call.
Police responded to three 911 calls.
Police assisted other agencies in three cases.
Police completed three curfew checks.
Police assisted with one community service project.
