Moose Jaw Police responded to 25 calls for service.

7:42 am – Hit & Run – A vehicle was hit while parked in a parking lot, causing approximately $2000 of damage.

9:43 am – Impaired Driving – A vehicle rear-ended another vehicle and left the scene.  Both drivers were found to be impaired.  One driver blew over .08 resulting in an indefinite licence suspension, while the other blew over .04 resulting in a 3 day licence suspension.  Both vehicles were impounded.

11:50 am – Dispute – A verbal argument between two parties resulted in one leaving upon request.

12:17 pm – Theft Under – Gas drive off.  This is still under investigation for police to retrieve video.

2:08 pm – Threats – A statement was obtained. The subject is to be charged for uttering threats.

3:00 pm – Found Property – A wallet found in a parking lot was turned in to the station.  It  was returned to the owner.

3:05 pm – Hit & Run – This occurred between September 25-26, and resulted in approximately $1800 of damage.

4:11 pm – Theft Under – Gas drive off.   The plate number and vehicle description were obtained.  This is still under investigation.

6:04 pm – Well Being Check – The subjects were located and are in fine health. The complainant was advised.

7:56 pm – Intoxicated Person/Impaired Driving – Concern was raised for an intoxicated person that may be driving.  Police spoke with the subject, who advised they already took appropriate measures to ensure safe transportation and would not be driving.

11:28 pm – Break & Enter (Unfounded) – People could be heard outside and inside a residence, and were people unknown to the caller.  Police attended, but the only people at the residence reside at that residence.  The caller was spoken to and admitted to consuming drugs earlier in the night.

11:31 pm – MVA – A two vehicle collision resulted in two tows, approximately $15,000 damage and one ticket for driving at a speed greater than was reasonable or safe.

11:40 pm – Mischief – The front door of a residence was smashed, causing approximately $250 damage.
