Moose Jaw Police responded to 42 calls for service.

7:20 am – Theft of Auto – A vehicle that was left running was stolen. It is a silver 2013 Nissan Murano bearing Manitoba plate GWK394. The vehicle was added to the Canada wide system.

9:13 am – A complainant was seeking advice on dealing with a family member’s activity with drugs; options were given.

9:12 am – A storage unit had the lock cut and was entered. It is unknown at this time what was taken, and police continue to investigate.

10:09 am – There was a report of a noisy stereo. The subject wouldn’t open the door for police, and the landlord was contacted to deal with the tenant.

10:21 am – Threats – All parties involved were spoken to about the incident.

11:18 am – Some found drugs were turned in for destruction.

12:02 pm – Disturbance – There was a report of a male causing a disturbance in a business. The male was located and warned to not return to the business.

1:27 pm – Attempted Break and Enter – Pry marks were found on the back door. No entry was gained to the residence.

3:33 pm – Theft of Auto – A vehicle that was left running was stolen. Taken is a light blue 1999 Ford Taurus, which was added to the Canada wide system.

4:22 pm – MVA – A single vehicle accident took place involving a semi and a power pole. Police assisted with a name exchange between the driver and SaskPower.

5:35 pm – Hit and Run – A hit and run to a vehicle left a white paint transfer on the bumper. The damage is estimated at $1,000. SGI forms were filled out and submitted.

7:31 pm – Attempted Theft – A person attempted to steal a cart full of merchandise valued at $1,250. The merchandise was recovered. This is still under investigation to identify the subject in the video.

9:47 pm – Well-Being Check – A complainant hadn’t seen their neighbour for a few days. The subject was located in fine health. The complainant was advised.

10:33 pm – Dispute – A dispute took place between three people. All parties were spoken to, with one agreeing to leave for the night.

10:47 pm – Trespassing – The subject was located within a premise they didn’t have permission to be in. The subject was held in cells until sober, and is to be charged with trespassing.

1:37 am – Food Fraud – A subject was refusing to pay their tab. The subject was brought to cells and held until sober, and was to be released for a later court date.

Police responded to three 911 calls.
Police assisted other government agencies in seven cases.
Police executed one warrant.
Police completed four curfew checks.
