Moose Jaw Police responded to 45 calls for service.

7:15 am – Suspicious Person – A person was banging on the door of a residence near a complainant, who requested police come and check out the situation. Police attended and assisted the person in getting to an alternative place to stay.

12:20 pm – Domestic – There was a dispute between two parties the day prior. The complainant wished for the opposing party to be spoken to. Police mediated the situation.

1:03 pm – Prohibited Driving – A complainant stated a person who was going to be coming to their residence had no licence. Police spoke with the person who was going to be attending, who stated that they had someone else driving for them.

2:06 pm – Breach of Recognizance – A person stated that another person with orders to stay away attended to a premise that they were at. They wished for police to speak with the person on conditions and explain that they are not to be attending there.

3:15 pm – Dispute – A person suspected that another person was going to show up at a business and cause issues and requested police to be present. They showed up with no disruption to the surroundings.

4:14 pm – Hit & Run – a vehicle turned a corner and hit the complainant’s fence. Witnesses came forward with information. Police are investigating to touch base with the driver.

4:26 pm – Found Property – A phone was turned in to the Police Station. Police are investigating to find the owner.

4:48 pm – Suspicious Occurrence – A complainant thought they saw a person on a stolen bike. Police found the person and bike as described. They checked for the status of the bike, and it did not come back as stolen. The person riding the bike was sent on their way.

4:59 pm – MVA – A three vehicle accident resulted in approximately $25,000-30,000 of damage. Two vehicles were towed, and one ticketed was issued for driving without due care.

5:12 pm – Shoplifting – A person took an item from a business. Suspect information and an evidence package were given to police to follow up with.

7:20 pm – Suspicious Occurrence – A complainant stated that their infant found drug paraphernalia and wanted options for the items found. The infant was taken to hospital for a follow up. Items were obtained for destruction by police.

7:29 pm – Dangerous Driving – A person was driving the wrong way down the highway. Police were advised of the situation, and RCMP were notified.

8:24 pm – Theft of Auto – A trailer and skid steer were taken from a business sometime over night. Police are investigating.

8:40 pm – Mischief – Two persons were described to be throwing rocks at vehicles. Police attended to the area but did not find the persons as described. There were no rocks being thrown at the time.

10:09 pm – Unwanted Guest – Two persons were found on premises where they were not allowed. Police attended but workers had made contact and may have scared the persons off.

12:32 am – Unwanted Guest – a person was intoxicated and would not leave the complainant’s residence. Police attended and requested EMS to attend to have the person checked on. They were brought back to hospital for observation.

3:19 am – Erratic Driving – A vehicle was all over the road. The complainant requested police speak with the driver and warn them about their actions. Police found the vehicle as described, but the residence it was parked in front of was dark and quiet. Messages were left with the registered owner.

Police responded to three 911 calls.

Police assisted other agencies in four cases.
