Moose Jaw Police responded to 36 calls for service.

7:02 am – Assist to Locate – A subject hadn’t been seen for 24 hours. Police checked several places of family and friends with negative results, and the subject returned home on their own.

9:06 am – Threats – A complainant stated they were getting threats on Facebook over a post that was made. The complainant was being vague about the kind of threats made and was advised to block the other person on Facebook.

12:59 pm – Threats – A complainant received unwanted communication on Facebook, and was advised to block the other person.

1:16 pm – Breach Probation – During a breach of probation investigation a subject fled from police. The subject was located and charged with breaching probation and resisting arrest. The subject was arrested and held for court Monday morning.

1:16 pm – Mischief and Theft – Sometime overnight a vehicle window was shot out with a BB gun. The estimated loss was $350.

2:25 pm – Theft of Auto – An un-driveable vehicle was stolen within the past three weeks. It is a black 2000 Chev Silverado bearing SK plate 230 JMQ, and is valued at $3,000.

3:07 pm – Well Being Check – The subject was located. Police assisted in lining up additional resources for the subject.

4:20 pm – Mischief – Sometime within the past 24 hours someone punched a vehicle. The damage was estimated at $25.

4:20 pm – Hit and Run – A hit and run to a vehicle resulted in damage to the driver’s side mirror. The damage was estimated at $200. SGI forms were filled out and submitted.

5:23 pm – Unwanted Communication – this was reported for information purposes.

6:13 pm – Dispute – There was a dispute between two parties with one party seeking advice. Advice was given.

6:43 pm – Erratic Driving – There was a report of a driver speeding, suicide passing, and running a red light. The complainant provided a statement for possible charges.

7:33 pm – A complainant and witness provided statements, and a subject is to be charged with watching and besetting, and assault with a weapon during the execution of the warrant. The subject resisted arrest, was held in cells until morning, and is to be released in front of a judge with several conditions.

8:13 pm – Dispute – An ongoing dispute was occurring between a complainant and two other people. A statement was taken, and the dispute is to be documented as per the complainant’s wishes.

8:26 pm – Dispute – There was miscommunication between staff members about the registered owner getting belongings from a car. The dispute was mediated.

8:52 pm – Dispute – There was a dispute between two parties. Police spoke to both parties involved, and the dispute was mediated.

9:56 pm – Theft – Merchandise was stolen. Another customer covered the cost of the merchandise, and police are still investigating.

4:10 am – Insecurity – Police responded to an alarm call at a business. The door was found to be insecure. Police cleared the building with no one located. The keyholder attended and locked the building up.
