Moose Jaw Police responded to 63 calls for service.

8:56 am – Trespass - Police spoke to residents about trespassing.

9:51 am – Threats – A complainant was concerned regarding damages to personal property. The situation was mediated.

11:05 am – Hit and Run – A complainant noticed that sometime overnight someone had hit their vehicle. Police are still investigating.

11:57 am – A subject attempted to defraud a financial institution with a fraudulent cheque in order to obtain money.  The subject was charged.

12:40 pm – A warrant was executed.

1:15 pm – Theft of Auto – A complainant lent a vehicle to a friend and the vehicle was not returned.

3:02 pm – Fraud/Theft – A complainant noticed charges on a credit card that were made by fraudulent means. The approximate loss is $38,000. Police are still investigating.

5:10 pm – Motor Vehicle Collision- Two vehicles were involved. There were minor injuries and one tow. A ticket was issued for undue care and attention.

5:28 pm – Wellbeing Check – Customer service was concerned with a client’s remarks made on the phone.  The subject was well and was upset over the service she was receiving.

6:06 pm – Theft Under – A complainant was notified a parcel had been delivered. When someone went to pick it up it was gone. Police are still investigating.

6:08 pm – Residential Alarm – The home was secure. False alarm. 

7:29 pm – Disturbance – A resident was threatening home staff. They were detained on breach of conditions.

9:37 pm – Disturbance – There was a report of a group of youths causing a disturbance.  The youths were advised to move along out of the area.

10:18 pm – Assist to Locate – A request to locate a local youth was made.

1:40 am – Barking Dog – A dog was at large. The owner was not found.

4:26 am –Assault – One person was assaulted by another. The person was held in cells to be charged.

Police responded to four cases of theft.
Police responded to six 911 calls.
Police responded to two cases of impaired driving.
Police assisted other agencies in six cases.
