The Moose Jaw YMCA announced another change in leadership on Tuesday.

The board of directors shared in the welcome of Diana Deakin-Thomas, who will be in the position of Interim CEO for the next three months.

“I am honoured to be returning to join the Moose Jaw team and look forward to serving the area’s vibrant communities”, said Deakin-Thomas in a written release.

Board Chair, Christine Boyczuk, said that Daekin-Thomas has many years of experience and has been stepping in here and there to help the local team since their last CEO stepped down last fall.

“Diana is a highly respected and skilled YMCA professional, and her extensive experience will be a significant asset to our Y and our community,” said Christine Boyczuk, Board Chair, YMCA of Moose Jaw.

Deakin-Thomas also worked in various roles within the senior staff and volunteer roles at YMCAs across Canada and the United States.
