Police and RCMP are working to find a man who allegedly kidnapped a woman from a rural property near Melville and forced her to drive him to Regina, all while at gunpoint.

RCMP say the man kidnapped the woman around 1:30 Thursday afternoon using a firearm that had been reportedly stolen from that residence. When they got to Regina, the man made her drive to a home, he got out and she immediately drove away to call police.

The suspect is described as an Indigenous male, approximately 5' 10" tall with a slim build. He was wearing black pants, a black "Regina Riot" hooded sweatshirt with "Defence" written on the front. No injuries were reported.
