Meteorologists began to warn Saskatchewan residents Monday afternoon that a snow storm would be rolling across the Prairies this week.

Moose Jaw saw snow flakes begin to fall shortly after lunch that day and we're expecting to see anywhere between 5 and 10 centimeters of snow fall.

Some residents were posting to social media Tuesday afternoon, saying the driving conditions between us and the Queen City were slushy but still manageable.

Environment Canada said that drivers in the area should be using caution when travelling and be on the lookout for unfavorable conditions.

The Highway Hotline map shows up to date conditions of roads across the province, as well as any highways that might be closed due to poor driving conditions.

For the rest of the work week, it would seem as though spring will be returning to the Friendly City, with sunshine forecasted for the next week.
