There are a few facilities closed Monday around the city for the long weekend.

The City posted this schedule detailing all the closures:

  • City Hall: CLOSED Monday, October 8
  • October 8 Waste pickup: Zone 2
  • October 8 Recycling Pickup: None (as per regular schedule)
  • Sanitary Landfill: OPEN regular hours October 8 7:00 a.m. – 8:45 p.m.
  • Moose Jaw Transit: REGULAR SERVICE Saturday, October 6. NO SERVICE Monday, October 8
  • Public Library: CLOSED Sunday, October 7 and Monday, October 8
  • Yara Centre: CLOSED Monday, October 8

The Kinsmen Sportsplex has some special hours for the holidays also. There will be no water workout classes Monday, but they have some extended hours for public swims and free skating.
