The world is buzzing today in anticipation for the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton on Friday morning from Westminster Abbey in London, England.

People are camping out on the streets in London says former Saskatchewan resident Susie Sourwine, who now lives and works in the British captial, "It wasn't as busy as I thought it would be with the overnight campers, but most of the really great spots have all been staked out and then it's just the depth that will get added in early tomorrow morning."

Sourwine says the thing that caught her eye was the people from all different nationalities gathering outside Westminster Abbey and along the Mall route.

"There were people from every culture getting their picture taken and walking it to see what it was looking like."

Streets and building are decorated with the Union Jack and British pride is alive in the country, says Sourwine, "The people mostly are the biggest decoration as they are covered in demonstration of national unity in a way that the Bristish don't usually do unless their's a World Cup involved."

One of the bigger questions around the Royal Wedding has been how will the security be handled.  Estimates put the cost of security at about $33 million.  Sourwine says security was tight, but friendly, "They already bomb swept the entire areas and as you were walking you can tell that tomorrow the crowd will be much tighter controlled."

The country is expected to be in celebatory-mode for the day as it's a national holiday in the United Kingdom, Sourwine says she'll be watching at a house party.
