The rink is all ready for the Warriors to have their home opener in town today.

A Fan Fest will be taking place at the main pad at Mosaic Place to help hype up the game tonight.

“As an organization, and with the Booster Club, we wanted to make sure our home opener was a big one this year,” said Rachel Sproule, manager of special events and hockey programs for the Moose Jaw Warriors.

Starting at 3 pm today, the Fan Fest will have bouncy castles and the Booster Club will be down selling 50/50 tickets. Also, Brad Johner and his boys will be providing musical entertainment starting at 4 pm.

In anticipation for the home opener, the 50/50 sales have been going on for the past couple weeks, setting up for a pot over $20,000, meaning one lucky ticket holder will be heading home with over $10,000.

The Warriors return home from Prince Albert, coming back from their season opener against the Raiders with a 3-0 win.

Puck drops at 7 pm tonight.
