As promised, warmer weather is on the way. Forecasters made the promise for better weather last week and while there were many sceptics, the new forecast is still holding that warming trend though.

The warmer air will be welcomed across the province following a cooler than normal month on the prairies that saw snow and rain bring an abrupt halt to harvest operations.

The change will start Monday with a high of 10 degrees and then we should stay above freezing overnight, leading to even better weather by Wednesday and a high of 19 degrees.
