While many businesses in Moose Jaw have had to shut their doors, one business in town is seeing an uptick in customers, and sales.

The Wandering Market in Moose Jaw provides fresh farm produce such as eggs, honey, wild rice, vegetables, soap, lotion, and much more.

Nadine Lee is the co-owner of the wandering market. She explains that unlike most larger stores, they can get deliveries at any given time.

"We have a pretty fast supply chain. Grocery stores are just sitting and waiting for deliveries just like everybody else, whereas we have connections with the actual people who are making the food. So I just make a call, and my husband goes out and picks it up for us, or they deliver it."

Lee says many people are visiting the store for the first time, and that they have a number of safety precautions in place, including sanitizing the store on a regular basis, and not keeping any foods out in the open.

"We really appreciate people's patience. I've noticed throughout this situation people have been very patient with us. Sometimes the staff and I feel a little stressed with the number of orders and people coming in, but people have been really relaxed and very supportive."

Lee adds that everyone coming into the market has been very respectful and patient, with many using hand sanitizer or washing their hands before entering.
