The regular meeting of Moose Jaw City Council Monday night has two high profile reports that are going to draw a lot of attention.

The first dates back to phase 1 of the cast iron water main replacement and the perceived billing issues with a number of residents. Complaints were filed about the way things were handled and a report was ordered. Residents were supposed to be told when the report was ready, but somehow they weren't, leading to the report being tabled until that communication could happen.

The other report is from a closed-door meeting between Mayor Fraser Tolmie, and Councillors Dawn Luhning and Chris Warren that took over 4 hours. Absent from the meeting were Councillors Brian Swanson, Crystal Froese and Scott McMann, leading us to believe that the meeting was regarding the investigation into personnel issues at Mosaic Place and Yara Center.

Officials made a motion directing administration to prepare a report, but refused to comment on what the meeting was about, what the motion directed admin to do or why it was kept confidential. Monday night, we're supposed to get that report.
