Two cases are considered active in the sub-region 'south-central 2', which is made up of Moose Jaw and the surrounding area.

Two deaths were reported in the COVID-19 update from the provincial government on Friday, as well as 20 new cases and 12 recoveries.

One of the deaths reported was in the 60-69 age group from the northwest, and the other was in the 70-79 age group from the far northeast.

Of the new cases, four are in Regina, three are in Saskatoon, three in the far northwest, three in the central-east, two in the north-central zone, two in the northwest, one in the far northeast, and one in the southeast. No new cases were reported in the south-central zone.

380 cases are considered active, with two of those located in the south-central 2 sub-region.

53 people are in hospital, with 44 receiving inpatient care and nine are in intensive care.
