The province reported two deaths and 122 new cases of COVID-19 Friday along with 131 recoveries. 

One death in the 70-79 age group from the Saskatoon zone and one death in the 80+ age group from the North West zone. 

There are 113 people in hospital, 87 people are receiving inpatient care.

Of the new cases, the South Central Zone is reporting 11 new cases, Saskatoon is reporting 38 new cases, Regina is reporting 21 new cases, Central East Zone is reporting 16 new cases, the North Central Zone is reporting 12 new cases, South Central zone is reporting 11 new cases, the North West zone is reporting six new cases, the South East Zone is reporting five new cases, the Far North West is reporting four new cases, the North East Zone is reporting two new cases, the Far North Central zone is reporting one new case and the South West zone is also reporting one new case.

1,371  cases are considered active in the province, with 52 of those located in the sub-region 'south-central 2', which comprises Moose Jaw and the surrounding area.

Vaccine Update

An additional 14,351 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 693,625.

The 14,351 doses of COVID-19 vaccine reported today were administered to residents living in the following zones: Far North West, 256; Far North Central, 2; Far North East, 130; North West, 627; North Central, 772; North East, 581; Saskatoon, 4,648; Central West, 537; Central East, 1,359; Regina, 3,553; South West, 354; South Central, 474; and South East, 782. There were 276 doses administered with zone of residence pending.

Seventy-six per cent of those over the age of 40 have received their first dose. Seventy per cent of those 30+ have received their first dose. Sixty-four per cent of those 18+ have received their first dose.
