The Tunnels of Moose Jaw have announced that they will be getting a bit of a branding/marketing facelift, thanks to the work of local artist/producer and photographer - Jared Robinson of Nebulus Entertainment.

The first image of the rebrand was released today, with more expected to be released on social media each week over the next couple of months.

Robinson talked to us about what he was hoping to capture with his work.

"I'm really excited to explore the expanded universe of the Tunnels of Moose Jaw. I thought that I could really touch on some of those characters you don't really think about much while you travel through the tunnels. I'm really happy with where it's gone so far and I think we're going to continue to work in the future."

To get some ideas as to how he wanted his new character posters to work, Robinson toured the tunnels with Board Chair of Tourism Moose Jaw, Kelly Carty.

"We walked through the tunnels, just the two of us, and we explored the opportunities to kind of reach out to different spaces in the tunnels to think 'Who would be working here?' or 'What would the bartender look like?', or 'What are some of the things the characters might be talking about or saying'. We just kind of picked a few people from a few different spots and just kind of vamped on the expanding the characters."

"I'm really excited about this project and I think they are too. It's great that a local entertainment business and organization is using a local artist as their source for these things. Its always excited to see an industry come together like that."

The images will all be released one character poster per week as a buildup to their new website experience and design, which was also designed by Jared Robinson, as well as Scott Benson of Benson Interactive, who worked on the programming. The hope is the new website will be new, exciting, and simpler to navigate.

Robinson says this will be an ongoing project, and there will be more pictures being released in conjunction with announcements from the Tunnels.
