Those who use some of Moose Jaw's main roads to get to work might want to leave a few minutes earlier on Wednesday.

The city of Moose Jaw is advising motorists there will be a few detours in place in order for some manhole repairs to be completed.

Two areas that will see construction crews on site are the 1200 block of Main Street North on the Southbound lanes, which will be closed from McDonald Street to Saskatchewan Street. There will be an alternate access to businesses in the area on Saskatchewan Street West or Clifton Avenue.

The other is the 0 block of Fairford Street East on both the North and Southbound lanes from Langdon Crescent to Main Street North. Those wanting to enter the Temple Garden's Mineral Spa will be able to drive down Lagndon Crescent or Main Street North, and residents who are heading across the street will have lanes available through High Street East or 1st Avenue North East.

Crews will be on site starting at 5am on Wednesday morning, and the city anticipates that things will be back to normal by Thursday.
