"Once again Moose Jaw has gone another way to make Christmas happy for so many families here in Moose Jaw," said the Salvation Army's Major Dan Broome. "I believe it was a great success. A lot of toys were collected here along with gift cards and a considerable amount of cash in our kettles. I'm confident that many families will be blessed this Christmas by the generosity of Moose Jaw."

Many people stopped by with bags of toys and smiles on their faces, along with monetary donations and gifts from local Businesses.

One notable donation was a $1000 cheque from Western Nissan.

"It's important for us to Western Nissan to support the community and help out where we can," said Alan Schuett from Western Nissan. "Like I say we're happy to help. I grew up in Moose Jaw and I want this community to thrive."

The two day collection at Canadian Tire went on smoothly and successfully, and it's all thanks to Moose Jaw and it's residents.
