Looking for an all-natural Christmas tree?

The Moose Jaw Wakamow Rotary Club has you covered with their Tree Stand Sale at the Moose Jaw Co-op. It begins November 25 and goes for 2 weeks until December 9.

There are over 300 trees to choose from.

“They come from within Saskatchewan. They’re high-quality trees. Frasers, balsam, spruce trees and they’re the kind of thing to just add to that Christmas spirit,” says Glenn Hagel, a member of the Rotary Club.

This sale is always very popular, and the trees sell fast. Last year all the trees sold out after 10 days.

Hagel also says that the tree sales will not only support the Rotary Club but will also support the initiatives that the club funds.

“We do a variety of things but we have special priority children and also the world of reading and literacy, as well as education," says Hagel.

"Here in Moose Jaw, we suppor

Rotary Club Member, Glenn Hagelt for example the Moose Jaw Hospital Foundation. For children and reading, we support a literacy program in the summer months and reading for children. On the international level, we support education and schools in Guatemala… So, when people are buying trees, they’re supporting those kinds of things. They’re helping to build a better world here in Moose Jaw (and) in other parts of the world as well."

The Tree Stand will be open 7 days a week but the open hours during the week will differ from the weekends. Monday to Friday the Tree Stand will be open from 11 am until 8 pm, Saturday it will be open from 10 am until 7 pm, and on Sunday it’s open from 10 am until 5 pm.

All people have to look for is the gingerbread house that will be at the Co-op and that’s where the Christmas trees will be found.
