Weyburn's Tenille Arts kicked the week off with her single, 'Everybody Knows Everyone,' hitting the Top 30 in Canada. But that was not all, Tenille also received the Rising Star Award during last night's 38th Annual Canadian Country Music Association Awards.

Tenille was given the trophy last night while she was introducing Lindsay Ell's performance during a segment in Nashville.

“It is such an honour to take home the Rising Star Award,” said Arts.“The CCMAs have been a part of my life and my career for many years now, and it feels incredible to be recognized in this way! I’m so grateful to all of the CCMA members who voted for me. It’s just the beginning, and I’m so excited!”

Tenille's new song, 'Everybody Knows Everybody' was released on Sunday and is featured on her album Love, Heartbreak, & Everything In Between.
