Moose Jaw RCMP are asking rural residents to be on the lookout for a black Ford truck with a black topper.

Monday afternoon, a farmer in the Caron area reported two men in a black truck that pulled into his yard.  The farmer said the two seemed surprised when he came out of the house, and the men told him they were looking to buy used batteries and tires.

Sgt. Tim Schwartz of the Moose Jaw detachment says the farmer thought the story seemed suspicious.

"The farmer indicated that he didn't and they left the yard." said Schwartz. "He noticed that there was an Alberta plate on the back of the truck however we don't have a plate number."

Schwartz says if you see a truck matching that description, you can call Moose Jaw RCMP. Other detachments in the province have been notified about the incident.
