Sunningdale School in Moose Jaw announced Wednesday that a positive case of COVID-19 has been found within the school.

The school has said they are working with Public Health, but that as with all elementary school cases, Public Health would not be contacting classmates. Instead, all classmates are being treated as contacts and placed into isolation.

Public Health will only reach out to individuals from other classrooms if they have been in close contact with the positive case. If parents do not hear from the school or Public Health, your child has not been exposed.

The letter sent to parents from Sunningdale School can be found below.

It was just announced last week that both school divisions that operate in Moose Jaw; Prairie South, and Holy Trinity, would be moving to at-home learning for the week of March 29-April 2.
