The Moose Jaw Public Library's Summer Programming is in full swing! With activities ranging from story time for children and arts and crafts all the way to writing workshops, building robots, and learning games like Magic the Gathering. Their programs run Monday to Friday, for all ages. The Library will also be holding it's Summer Reading Club.

Kyra Brown with the Moose Jaw Public Library explained how to get involved with the Club, and enter to win in it's reading competition.

"You just have to either, one, fill out a booklet that has challenges, and you can win a ballot, and you can put them in to win the prizes, or you can fill out a bookmark which just has your hours, and that's another way you can win as well."

The competition has impressive prizes for multiple age categories, as explained by Brown.

"So the Summer Reading Club, to register you just come down to the library, we have one for children, youth and adult. You can win top prizes for adults, the top prize is a Kobo E-Reader, for the youth, we have a tablet, and for the children, you can win a Cozmo Robot. "'

Along with reading, the Library will be hosting the Behind the Scenes program, going to many local businesses across the city, showing people what goes on inside. Wendy Drake, with the Public Library, explained what that would look like.

"So we'll be visiting, for example, Rainbow Retro, City Hall, meet with the Mayor, (he) might read a story, the Wandering Market, and the Mae Wilson Theatre, to name a few."
