Christmas decorations lay wrecked in front of this Queen Crescent home

Either someone, or a group of people are getting a head start on the "naughty" list for next Christmas.

Several reports of Christmas decorations being stolen and/or damaged came in to Moose Jaw police yesterday morning, from incidents that allegedly took place Sunday night. Homes on Pascoe Drive, Duffield Street, Spadina Drive, and Princess and Queen Crescents were all hit, with the homeowners on Queen reporting close to $2000 in damaged decorations.

"You put your heart in this and you do it for others enjoyment, but when all your hard work goes to waste like that, it makes you not want to do it anymore." says  Tony Korchinski, one of the residents affected. "That was over ten hours of setting that up, and now it's gone."

Korchinski says he got a knock on his door from his neighbor on Monday morning. "He said that my Christmas decorations were broken into pieces and scattered all over the block."

Police found shoeprints at the scene and have documented them. Korchinski says that the police thought the prints were similar to the ones found on other properties.
