Former mayor of Moose Jaw, Ray Boughen, and his wife Sandy Boughen received their Pfizer vaccine on Friday.

Sandy says they were vaccinated at the Exhibition Grounds here in Moose Jaw.

"It was so well organized; I was very impressed. We didn't have to wait hardly at all, we just got in line and practically went right in," says Sandy.

Sandy says life before COVID-19 was full of going to sporting events and watching her grandchildren play. Getting the vaccine was a step in the direction of getting back to normal.

"I felt so protected, it's such a good feeling to know that you are safe," says Sandy.

She says thank you to all the workers at the vaccine clinic.

The Saskatchewan Government has launched a multi-media campaign encouraging residents to 'Stick it to COVID' by getting vaccinated.

The campaign features real Saskatchewan people sharing their stories of why they got vaccinated and what it means to them.

"Today we are asking people to help us get back to normal by rolling up their sleeves to stick it to COVID," Premier Scott Moe said.

The campaign will be run province-wide and feature 11 real Saskatchewan people who got vaccinated.
