Moose Jaw's St. Mary School is hoping you'll "adopt" them and add new books to their library.

The south hill elementary school is entered in the Chapters bookstore "adopt a school" contest.  St. Mary's Instructional and Literacy Coach, Stacey Moser explains.

"Every school involved in the campaign has a chance to win up to $10,000. Chapters is giving away money for the top schools in each province."

Moser says they've had luck with this sort of contest in the past.

"We were adopted by Chapters in Regina two years ago. It wasn't the same program as it is now, but they were doing something similar where the top 10 schools for votes in Canada won Kobo e-readers and we were in the top 10 at that time."

The online voting runs today through October 10th, and you can vote for St. Mary's school here.
