The provincial government reported the highest number of cases of COVID-19 in a single day since mid-January Saturday, with 355 new cases. This brings the seven-day average of new cases to 210, the highest since Mid-May.  

One death linked to COVID-19 was also reported, along with 110 hospitalizations. There are also 25 people who are currently in ICU. 

The majority of the new cases reported on Saturday were in the Saskatoon and North Central regions, where there were 112 and 67 cases, respectively. Another 41 new cases were reported in the Far North East region, 37 in the North West, 24 in the North East, 11 in the Far North West, 12 in Regina, eight in South Central, seven in South East, six in Central East, five in Central West and three in South West.  

Across the province, there were 2,671 doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered, with 692,313 people who are fully vaccinated.
