Moose Jaw City Council has called a special meeting scheduled for Monday at 4:30 p.m. to discuss the usage of masks in city facilities and transit.

Many cities have moved to make masks mandatory in public spaces. Calgary and Saskatoon have already made masks mandatory.

Masks in Regina have not been made mandatory yet, but the city has hinted that it could be coming.

The meeting is open to the public, however, there will be a limit of 30 people in council chambers including council and administration. All members of the public will be screened for COVID-19 at the door.

The meeting will also be live-streamed on the city's website.
