Moose Jaw residents on South Hill were left in the dark for a number of hours following a storm that rolled over the Friendly City early Wednesday morning.

SaskPower continued to keep residents posted with the Twitter account and they spent a good portion of the day making necessary adjustments to bring the power back.

Crews were on scene making repairs and said there was extensive damage, which made it diffuclut to give an estimated time for repair.

The reason as to why the subdivision of South Hill and surrounding areas were without power was due to damaged poles and lines.

SaskPower had all repairs made and the power restored shortly before 4pm, as they had posted on social media earlier in the day.
