Hitting the stage this Thursday at the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre, the most successful comedy tour in Canada is making its way back to the Notorious City.

The Snowed In Comedy Tour is in its 12th year and will be stopping in 70 different communities across the country.

The acts include Just for Laughs winner Dan Quinn, Paul Myrehaug, six-time Canadian Comedian of the year nominee Pete Zedlacher, and three-time female comedian of the year Debra DiGiovanni.

DiGiovanni tells us how the tour has been going so far.

"It started the third or fourth of January this year and it goes right into the middle of March. This is my first foray into Alberta and Saskatchewan on a tour. It's such a pleasure, I love these boys, I love this tour. I'm just getting paid to have fun, I'm the luckiest girl."

For Pete Zedlacher, this is his fifth Snowed In comedy tour, he explains just how much it's grown since its inception.

"It's the biggest comedy tour in the country now officially. 65 cities and 70 shows from Vancouver Island all the way to Charlottetown this year. 9 provinces and 4 months. We never dreamed in a million years it would get this big."

The show kicks off Thursday evening at 8:00 pm, with tickets available at the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre box office.
