The food, the fun, the shopping with friends. Sidewalk Days is underway in downtown Moose Jaw. The annual three day festival is back thanks to a great volunteer committee that includes Tourism Moose Jaw Executive Director Jackie L'Heureux Mason.

Music is a big part of the festival with performances all day long.

"It's constant. We have them all posted on Facebook and we'll also have the schedules on Main Street so you can check them out".

There are over 200 vendors taking part in Sidewalk Days this year and the Western Auto Group Children's Village is bigger than ever.

"Our motto from the day we started was 'Free Family Fun'. The children's village this year by Western Auto Group has expanded again, there's going to be 7 bouncy castles, an obstacle course, carnival style games with prizes, the Moose Jaw Coop Kids Chill Tent is packed. It's going to be completely focused on the kids and families."

The festival also includes shopping and tasty food, as well as the Moose Jaw Homegrown Market will be sliding over to High Street Saturday morning to take part in the fun.

The three day festival runs from 10 am-8 pm on Thursday and Friday, and 10 am-5 pm on Saturday, and Main Street will be blocked off from Ross street to the Manitoba Expressway until Saturday night.

Drivers are asked to use caution while in the area as a large number of pedestrians will be walking to and from the event. Roads that cross Main Street will remain open.
