The Saskatchewan Health Authority has confirmed that a resident at Pioneer Lodge in Moose Jaw accidentally ingested a cleaning fluid.

In a statement, the SHA said it cannot comment on specific incidents regarding patients and clients under its care.

They said for all incidents a care assessment is immediately done to assess the patient and ensure their well-being.

The statement says the incident is being investigated by the SHA and any finding will be used to improve care.

It can confirm there was an incident at the Pioneer Lodge where a resident accidentally ingested a cleaning fluid.
