Parts of Southern Saskatchewan were under severe thunderstorm watches and warnings throughout Tuesday afternoon and evening.

The city and RM of Moose Jaw were under a severe thunderstorm warning as of 6:09 p.m., and it was called off about an hour later. 

High winds and came with the storm as according to Environment Canada we received 9.8mm of the wet stuff. 

Regina saw far less rain than we did in town, only getting 2.5mm. Other areas hit by the storm include Cypress Hills where 6.6mm of rain fell and Yorkton where they received 4.4 mm

A storm warning for the RMs of Pense and Redburn were issued at 6:32 p.m., while Regina was added a short time later 

A cold front tracking through the southern Prairies in the afternoon triggered the thunderstorms, which brought varying amounts of rain.
