The city's Agri-Food Industrial Park is in the next stage of development, with crews installing sanitary, water, and storm infrastructure on the site.

Other than the new Sask Power natural gas plant, the city has yet to announce any other future businesses looking to build in the industrial park.

City manager Jim Puffalt says that the current work to make the site serviceable will eliminate many negotiating hurdles, making investment much more attractive to potential agriculture and food-related projects.
