Last Thursday, the Federal Communications Commission in the United States voted to repeal net neutrality.

While Bell Media has been pushing for something similar in Canada, Tim Jones, an external communications manager with SaskTel, says the Crown corporation in Saskatchewan just plans on following CRTC rules for net neutrality.

Net neutrality means service providers can't increase prices for certain websites or slow speeds down on certain sites.

Jones also said he's not aware of any dialogue between SaskTel and Bell or other service providers about a push to repeal net neutrality north of the Canada/US border.
