With just days to go before the Saskatchewan Party elects a new leader the race appears to be extremely close.

A poll released today by NewsTalk Radio and Insightrix tells the story of a campaign so close it has be be considered a dead heat.

Of the Sask party members surveyed Alana Koch garnered 22% of support as new party leader.  Ken Cheveldayoff’s 21% was second best, followed by Scott Moe with 13%, and Gord Wyant with 12%. Tina Beaudry-Mellor trailed at 3%.

A telling result of the survey was the number of party members who have apparently yet to make up their minds.  27% reported being uncertain who they would support.

Because of a relatively small sample size the poll has a margin of error of plus/minus 11.2%

The new leader will be selected this Saturday January 27th at the party's leadership convention in Saskatoon.
