After a long 14 years, the Saskatchewan Airshow will be returning this upcoming July.

There are a variety of acts in the air show including, the F-18 Canadian forces Hornet, the U.S. F-16 Viper, and Civilian demonstrations teams.

The air show has something for everybody from kids to seniors including a beer garden, static display and kids zone, and everyone is encouraged to come and check it out.

15 Wing Commander Colonel Dennis O'Reilly explained what goes on behind the scenes when setting up an event like this one.

"So we've got a nice balance of everything, I would also offer there are lots for people of all ages, we have a unique variety of food and beverage and vendors."

With an event of this size, there's a great deal of planning and effort that goes into making an event like this happen explained Cln. O'Reilly.

"There's a lot of people behind the scenes to make this happen. Just think about getting the acts in, all of the requirements to support them, the parking, the vending, the first aid, the traffic management, the security. We've thought about everything so we can provide the best customer experience."

The Show starts on July 6th and goes through to the 7th, with a cabaret at the exhibition grounds on Saturday night featuring two bands, 15 Wing Fellowship, and Jetstream.
