Saskatchewan's top 3 post secondary institutes are joining forces to try and get more students to come to the province.

The University of Regina, University of Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan Polytechnic have signed a memorandum of understanding to start work internationally. Calling themselves the SASK Alliance, the hope to promote studying in Saskatchewan as a way to get a high-quality education.

A few years ago before the name change, SIAST had announced plans for an international residence for students to make it easier to find accommodations while in Moose Jaw, but nothing ever developed.
