Saskatchewan Library Week is underway and the Moose Jaw Public Library is celebrating with a host of activities. Some events they have going on this week is their book club on October 19th, a Canada Pension Plan program, and a Maker fest happening on the 21st.

Throughout the week they will have open house activities, be talking about new library programs and people will be able to meet the staff.

"This is a really great chance for us to kind of reintroduce the library to people and make sure that everybody in the community know that libraries matter and that libraries are there for them," said Assistant Head Librarian, Jessie Marchinko.

They also have a fine forgiveness program, where people can knock off some overdue fees they have. More for information on the week, events and programs, check out the public libraries website.
