A bizarre case of impaired driving Tuesday morning in Moose Jaw.

Residents on Carrington Drive were stirred from their beds as an intoxicated man entered the home around 2 o'clock and refused to leave.  The resident forced him out but he then went to another home and got into a verbal dispute with the people there who chased him out. The man then got into his car and drove into the house multiple times before leaving the area.

Moments later, he slammed into a retaining wall on Vaughn Street and then several parked cars.  He fled the scene on foot but residents weren't going to let him get away and followed him while directing police to his location.

22 year old Derek Debnam of Moose Jaw has been released for court at a later date, facing a number of charges that include impaired driving and driving while prohibited.
